During this time Trevor has managed several large projects in Engineering, Oil and Gas, Commercial sector and private.
A fully qualified engineer who has delivered Health and Safety training for all types of organisations including International companies, local Government, Chemical companies and production organisations.
Expertise is varied but in the main lies within Health and Safety, Training and Engineering.

Maureen Miller
Maureen has been involved in the training sector for 20 years. She worked mainly with City and Guilds as an Internal Verifier for students undertaking NVQs in Heath & Social Care. Following this, for a period of time, she worked as an External Verifier for City and Guilds after leaving the nursing profession.
Currently, Maureen continues to maintain the quality standards expected of CCS Training alongside her Internal Verifier role for a private company in Scotland.
Maureen’s current role is now the Company Secretary for CCS Training looking after all the administration as well as co-ordinating the courses and trainers. An excellent communicator who takes great pride in providing the administration of the company to a high level.

Alan Smith
Professional background
Alan has over 20 years’ experience of various quality standards, working with a wide range of organizations both in the North East and throughout the UK. This has included the development and embedding of quality systems and processes, which led to the successful ownership of the key issues by both management and staff. As one of the first assessor’s Alan spent ten years assessing organizations against the national Investors in People standard. Alan has also experience of implementing Total Quality Management principles within a range of organizations and also a Quality Management Systems and ISO 9000 qualified lead auditor and currently carry out quality and training audits.
Elaine Walker
Professional background
Elaine Walker is a senior SVQ assessor in Social Services and Healthcare with over 14 years’ experience and trainer within the care sector. Elaine has worked previously as a Home Manager for 10 years and overall has 16 years of experience working in Management of Residential Care Homes.
Elaine assesses the level 2 and 3 Healthcare SVQ in Scotland and undertakes in-house mandatory training for Carers which includes Moving and Handling / Medication / Elder Abuse Awareness / First Aid / Dementia and Pressure Area Management.
Jeremy Sleet
Jeremy, originally from North West London, has been a trainer for over 8 years and was formally a warrant officer First Class, in the Royal Navy serving in the submarine service for 34 years.
After his career in the Royal Navy, Jeremy joined YMCA Plymouth as a Public Services Tutor, and Health & Safety coordinator, before becoming a Health and Safety and First Aid trainer in 2015
Whilst at YMCA Plymouth, I held the role of Health & Safety Coordinator, advising the senior management team on all aspects of Health and safety at work, as well as directing the facilities team on physical and administrative health and safety.
Throughout my career in the Royal Navy, I was always involved in Health and Safety at work. As the Officer of the Day for a Trafalgar Class Nuclear Submarine, I was responsible for; reserve of buoyancy, nuclear safety, Health and Safety, Safe systems of work, working at heights, the safety of dockyard workers and civilian contractors, the integrity of High-Pressure Air & Hydraulic systems. I also managed small scale construction projects within the military environment.

Mark Reed
Mark has over 30 years of experience implementing, training and auditing Management Systems (Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental) in UK businesses ranging from SMEs to multinational organisations across a wide range of sectors including FMCG, pharmaceutical, print media, serviced workspace and the voluntary sector. Having worked as a Director of various firms as well as in a consultancy role he has an excellent understanding of the varied needs that companies and organisations have.
With a background of conducting risk assessments, identifying potential hazards, and formulating targeted risk mitigation strategies, Mark has the ability to foresee potential risks and implement pre-emptive measures that prevent accidents and injuries.
As an engaging and effective trainer Mark is able to translate complex safety concepts into engaging and easily digestible training sessions.
