Certificate in Occupational health and Safety
This level of NVQ is aimed at students who would like to develop their skills and knowledge in the application of Occupational Health and Safety good practice within the workplace.
The award allows students to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression within the Health and Safety sector.
To achieve this qualification students must obtain the required level of 31 credits which are taken from the following:
23 credits from the mandatory units (301,302,303,304,305)
Plus a minimum of 8 credits from the optional units (306,307,308,309)
These are undertaken in the workplace and students must produce a portfolio of evidence making this a competence based qualification.
